Author registration

At least one author of each accepted paper must register before the Author/Early Registration deadline at the (IEEE) Member or Non-member rate (even if the author is a student) in order to have the paper published in the IWSSIP 2022 Proceedings. One author registration is valid for one (1) paper.

Authors of multiple papers: Each additional paper by the same author has to be registered under Additional paper category. One author can register up to 2 additional papers.

Any coauthors attending the conference should register for the conference according to their status, as described in more detail below. The person presenting the work (accepted paper) at the conference must be a (co)author of the work and must be a registered conference participant.
The paper must be presented at the conference by one of the authors to be included in the proceedings. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., remove it from IEEE Xplore®) if the paper is not presented at the conference.

When you fill the transfer document, add clearly the information bellow:

Transfer reason: IWSSIP’2022 – Your name
Additional: the data of your host institution required for the invoice
All bank transfer taxes are to be covered by the registered person.

Registration fees

Attendees will be able to register under the registration categories/rates R1-R3 corresponding to the attendee status: (IEEE) Member, IEEE Life-Member, Non-Member, Student, Accompanying person. A special registration category R4 is introduced for virtual attendance via online platform only.

⁽¹⁾ A copy of the IEEE membership card as a proof of IEEE membership and status required. Life Member rate also applies to Life Senior Members and Life Fellows.
⁽²⁾ A copy of student ID or index collegium (showing enrolment in current semester or academic year) as a proof of student status required.
⁽³⁾ Verification of status required.

The registration fee (R1-R3) covers access to all plenary and special sessions as well as to the exhibition. In addition, lunch, coffee breaks, and social events (guided city tour, gala dinner and excursion) are included.

All conference attendees will receive an access code for the online conference proceedings.

Virtual-only conference attendance registration fee (R4) includes access to all conference sessions via online platform.

Cancellation policy: All cancellation requests must be provided in writing, to the Organizing Committee Chair Galia Marinova (gim@tu-sofia.bg), and received by May 15, 2022. No refunds will be provided for requests received after this date. The Author registration is non-refundable. For other types of registration, all approved cancellations incur 50€ administrative fee. Refunds will only be processed after the Conference.

Insurance: The registration fees do not include insurance of participants against personal and health incidents such as sickness, accidents, theft, property damage or loss, etc. Participants are advised to take care on an adequate personal insurance.

IWSSIP’2022 Conference Questionnaire for authors and attendees

IWSSIP is planned and will be realized in hybrid mode. When you decide how to attend the conference, have in mind that currently all COVID-19 restrictions are retrieved in Bulgaria, no vaccination or test documents are requested at the borders and no masks are required wherever except if one wants to wear a mask by him/herself. The weather in Sofia in June is warm – not too hot, not too cold. We decided to organize IWSSIP’2022 in Park Hotel Vitosha:
